Our beautiful city has been crowned the best in the UK to raise a family, in recognition of its outstanding schools, optimum air quality, safety and best value property prices.
The study, published in House Beautiful magazine, analysed over 100 towns and cities, ranking them on a wide number of important factors including property prices, costs of living, family attractions, schooling and safety levels.Boasting plenty of family-friendly venues and enjoying the very best of outdoor living, the Cathedral City of Lincoln has always been a child-friendly destination.
Some of the recognised attractions that propelled Lincoln to the top of the list included International Bomber Command Centre, Lincoln Castle, Lincoln Cathedral, The Collection Museum and The Museum of Lincolnshire Life, all providing hours of entertainment for the whole family.
Minutes from the City Center, families enjoy an array of child-friendly attractions including Doddington Hall and Gardens, with its miles of gardens to explore and mouth-watering café and restaurant, as well as Rand Farm Park which is becoming increasingly popular with young families exploring life on the farm with a menagerie of live animals to see, touch and even feed.
